How do I volunteer?
We can always use volunteers and greatly appreciate any time you can give to the PTO. We need you to help make the events as successful as possible. Every event will have a volunteer appreciation drawing, just our way of saying thanks for helping us make these events possible. Please contact the PTO Vice President, Lora Petro at 830-8324 or email her to sign up today!

Who can volunteer?
Many events can benefit not only from a parents involvement but grandparents or older (teen+) siblings as well.

Where are the meetings?
Meetings are held on the stage behind the cafeteria. Meetings begin at 7pm. Child care is provided, but we ask that you notify us of this need. A list of meeting dates can be found on the schedule.

Who can attend meetings?
Any one can attend the general meetings, child care is provided. If you wish to speak at a meeting we ask that you contact the PTO President, Andi Solero to be put on the agenda.

How do I receive/send correspondence to the PTO?
Any PTO functions such as fundraisers, spirit nights or family events, volunteer requests etc will be sent home on Gold paper. It will also be posted on the website and in the school newsletter. You can send emails to the PTO on this site or use the PTO mailbox at school, just ask Mrs. Donovan in the main office.

How can I make suggestions or comments?
We appreciate your feedback. If you really enjoyed the family picnic we want to hear about it. If you didn’t care for an event so much- we want to know that too! Have an idea for a new event? Let us know. Please contact Andi Solero, PTO President.

How is money raised for the PTO?
The PTO does a major fundraiser in the fall and a silent auction/chili supper in February. These are our two primary sources of funding.

What is the money being used for?
The majority of our expenses go towards field trips, expanding our classroom materials, academic rewards (excellence shirts) and providing additional funding for the teachers to use in their classrooms. Other events we try first to rely on community donations before using our reserve funds.
